VIDEO GAME FOR CHILDREN ON A BUILDING – INTERACTIVE MAPPING BY DARIUSZ MAKARUK PROJECT DEMO: An interactive game on a building allowing for 2-player competition live. The system works in realtime and allows for the kids to play, compete, smash windows and deform the building they play their game on. The game is a multiplayer platformer designed to fit the architecture of the building.

Dariusz Makaruk (PL)
Composer, music producer, director of projection mapping projects. Lives and works in Warsaw, Poland. Member of Polish Society for Electroacoustic Music (PSeME) – a Polish department of CIME/ICEM in Bourges supported by UNESCO. Makaruk is a First Prize Winner for the largest Projection Mapping installation in the world, in a contest organised by Bi-City Biennale of Urbanism and Architecture Shenzhen/Hong Kong in 2019. The award winning project was performed on 40 skyscrapers in the centre of Shenzhen City. Makaruk is a First Prize Winner of the International Contest of Les Bains Numeriques #9 Festival for the duo AV performance with the project Dimension N with Alba G Corral [ES] – organised by Arts Center of Enghien-les-Bains. He was a member of Pépinières Européennes Pour les Jeunes Artistes 2016 programme hosted by Transcultures – Interdisciplinary Center for Digital and Sound Cultures in Mons, Belgium. He is a laureate of National Scholarship for Music Programme in 2020 issued by the Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage – for the composition and publication of a longplay acousmatic music album. Makaruk is an author of interactive multimedia installations based on own software developed in Max/MSP Jitter, Unity, C# and Arduino. He is an initiator and Artistic Director of Moving Closer Innovative Art Festival organised in Warsaw, Poland and Laserowa Noc Festival organised in Kielce, Poland.
