Bicho Blanco – Miel del Aguacate

A music video for Mexican band Bicho Blanco expressing an animated essay on death and the beliefs that surround this moment of transition across different cultural and social systems filtered by individual perceptions. Triggered by the experience of tasting the densest of honeys, that of avocado blossoms, animation for “Miel del Aguacate” became a free-form, 2 year project by Piojos.

The idea of Piojos has been slowly molding on a back burner through the years and is a persona used for creation of essays on different point of views throughout (hopefully) several multimedia projects that are slowly bringing to life an imaginarium. “Miel del Aguacate” is meant to be the first of a series of animated essays on perception.
